Hey.. I really like your ideas!!...I was just combing thru writing and notes to what I thought somehow pertained(although I feel I was somewhat vauge?) We seem to be tapping into some similiar currents and concepts anyway. I have alot more...I'm sure you do too. Hey...let's keep this whole "electro-poetics" concept evolving. I love Brian Howe's work, and still checking all that out!! It's fantastic!!!..Exactly what I've been picturing in reguards to what I'd like to create and develop,
Right back at ya on the album selections...there's some in there I don't think I've heard yet so I'll have to delve into those.
And I certainly wouldn't object to you guys moving to Cali!!! :) :) :) I tell ya, with the housing market the way it is, now's the time to buy in San Diego. ;0)
where did you nab the 'librarian' from...i'm looking on torrentz but don't see it.
Glad to meet you too! I would be more than happy to look at your blog here soon....I'd say most everything I've done would qualify more than likely as experimental...so It sounds great already.Still looking all around this new Atmoworks Universe... I feel like a "kid in a Candy store!"
Language is one power that can tap, even trigger "divine" events. Look forwards to triggering some here....
Supergrass... In It for the Money blew me away the first time I heard it. My band back in '97/'98 covered Richard III which was darn fun (and the only track that had a chance of anyone in a bar having heard before...ha) -
Humorously - their s/t album I didn't really like the first few times I played it. I ended up setting it aside for about 6 months or a year and played it again and wondered what the heck I was thinking... brilliant album. A couple of my favorite tracks are on there (2nd to last track specifically - don't recall the title).
I got a kick out of watching the movie Hot Fuzz the other day with Heidi and 'caught by the fuzz' playing over the end credits... nice touch.
I am hoping to spend more time in the virtual world, so I can catch up with you and check out your ever expanding body of work, but time in the real world can't be beat. We always love to hang out with you and Rebecca. You asked me, "who's getting married next?"... who knows, maybe you. : )
You asked if I built the site... no and a partial yes. It's built on Ning - so a lot of it is 'built in' - I've been turning various bits on and organizing. It'll be awhile before everything is really in place... there's a couple of blog and forum posts about building the site and what's planned...
Great news! I'm glad I could be part of starting a creative infection.
I've got the session files now, and have started the ball rolling. I'll be finishing my first stage drum editing on Great Deceiver tonite. Might have something for everyone to check out over the weekend/early next week. Sounding great and no unexpected surprises so far.
Yeah a group is a great idea. We'll need to get Hooterboy on it also. I'll check into it.
Your fuckin page looks cool as hell by the way.
