At 8:59am on September 15, 2009, peter james said…: many thanks Pete. the title was taken from a passage in a book called "birth without violence", which i was also given to read before writing the pieces. indeed i was asked to recite/record a chapter, to music as well (which i will not be posting haha!). as soon as i read it i instantly thought of the Fin whale pulses. it was a strict "one-off", as it was bespoke to the individual wishes of the parents.
