many thanks Pete. the title was taken from a passage in a book called "birth without violence", which i was also given to read before writing the pieces. indeed i was asked to recite/record a chapter, to music as well (which i will not be posting haha!). as soon as i read it i instantly thought of the Fin whale pulses. it was a strict "one-off", as it was bespoke to the individual wishes of the parents.
thanks again Pete. much appreciated. (Fluid guitar indeed!)

Your new track is a wonderful sounding thing pete!!!
I'll add to Steve Brand's comment how your music alters where you are when you listen to it.
An intensely beautiful and disturbingly sensuous album.
Greetings and salutations. I am very pleased with your creations. Arclight continues to be my favorite amongst your songs, and I'm sure I will pick out more and more.
I'm trying to push myself to get out into all the venues for connecting with other ambient folk and Myspace and Atmoworks are a couple of the first. We'll see how much time I have to keep up with everything plus the website. Thanks for the welcome and it has been a pleasure to help the music get a wider audience in my own small way. Keep up the good work.
Just wanted to drop you a note. I picked up Flicker off of iTunes yesterday, and it's absolutely brilliant. Congratulations, the hard work you guys put into these releases is really evident. Just gorgeous.
Congratulations on "Halo"! I bought it the other day and it's been on frequent rotation here in The Treehouse. Challenging, varied and meditative work.
Wow I had been playing your photos on repeat and almost forgot to turn your music box on. John (Relaxed Machinery) prompted me to listen to some of your art and what I hear I like very much. Keep up the good work!

Thanks very much, the 'Flicker' and 'HALO' albums were quite a project !. It's very encouraging to get such positive feedback.
Thanks also on behalf of 'Achromus' AKA 'Man of Mystery' AKA Michael Stringer who has just flown over to Greece to get married.
