LightTools is Steve Brand's first long form piece, taking over a year to complete. Constructed of keyboard textures, bells and voice, this 63 minute piece takes the listener on a journey through brightly lit zones of intoning celestial choirs, only to submerge into volcanic, rumbling clouds of mercurial darkness, returning again to skyscapes that are at once familiar, yet alien.
