infinite pulse

..after some deliberation i've added the track "infinite pulse". this piece is one of 3 that i was asked to compose to accompany a home water birthing. the pieces i did were only written after consultations with the expectant mother (and father). the 3 pieces were played all day, throughout the labour, on rotation, and the baby, molly rose, was born peacefully, without tears or screams (from the mother or baby), without the need for intervention by the midwife or attending nurse, delivered by her grandmother, and surrounded by loved one's. suffice to say, it was a great honour indeed to even have been asked. i never thought, when i started out doing this stuff, that i would be so personally involved with something so uttterly positive and life affirming.

I like this one Peter, it's on the right side of being relaxing (and interesting) whilst not being overly 'sweet'.

It's great to hear your music being used for such an important thing.
