AtmoWorks on Stillstream.com

I listened to several hours of the Stillstream broadcast, and I really loved it. David Herpich did a great job selecting some fine tracks for all to listen. It was cool that the AtmoWorks folks were available in the Stillstream chat room. Throughout the broadcast there were about 95 people from around the world listening in. Continue

Back from City Skies

Just got back from the City Skies festival hosted by Jim Combs in Atlanta. I had a great time and met some old friends and made some new ones. I was only there Saturday and missed two previous days. I wished I had seen Paul Vnuk's performance with Klimchak, as well as many others. From what I did see, my favorite performance was Kevin Spears' and Shane Morris' collaboration. Really great rhythms from both. It was interesting to see them use acoustic instruments and marry them with electronics.… Continue

Mark Mahoney and Others from this Community Performing at City Skies

I'm putting the finishing touches on my set for my City Skies performance this Saturday, May 9, in Decatur, GA. I play at 7 pm (eastern). Stillstream.com will also be broadcasting the festival live. I know that Paul Vnuk will also be playing there. I believe Paul plays Friday night. He had a wonderful set last year, and I am sure it will be equally good this year. I have just released my second solo CD, "Beyond the Vaulting Sky" on Waiting World Records. So far Chuck van Zyl has played 4 tracks on Stars End, and on May 2 David Herpich at Stillstream.com had a CD release party and played the entire CD .
