Orb Gettarr is currently working on two new albums, one which will be entitled 'Assembling Worlds' and is based on the writings of Carlos Castaneda and the concept of Tensegrity, and also an acoustic guitar album called 'Sunday Afternoon', which is a collection of recordings made on a battery-powered mobile recording setup after a lightning storm knocked out the power for several hours- on a Sunday afternoon, of course..
I will keep you posted when release time draws near.. Continue

This is a remixed version of "Whale Song" found the 'Pond' album: http://www.diatonis.com/pond.html
This song (Whale Song II) is from the upcoming 'The Secret Doctrine' album. The full length version is about 12 minutes. It seems the six other songs are somewhat long as well.
You can download a full length / resolution MP4 here:

We have just shared here at Atmoworks our latest piece called Sphinx. It is a dark, meditative deep ambient track inspired by the Great Sphinx of Giza. Hope you can give it a listen and enjoy it.
Peace and inspiration,

Greetings to everyone of AtmoWorks....I trust everyone is enjoying their summer. I started the only IPTV Ambient Channel, Floating Worlds, on Joost over 2 years ago. I thought that Floating Worlds would attract ambient visual artists worldwide...Instead, I have discovered that ambient visual artists are few and far between, while the community of ambient sonic artists continues to expand.
I welcome collaboration with any visual artists who are interested in creating in the ambient medium. Would… Continue

A dawn of a new age has arrived;
Today I have bought a super video camera: SONY HDR-XR520V 240GB.
On top of that, I have bought extra video light for night shots, extra zoom microphone, extra battery, one table tripod for web cam, one big tripod, which is super. The only thing missing is the cordless microphone, when that is bought, then I have a perfect documentary unit filming in HD and in 5.1 surround sound!
I've already made arrangements with a skater hockey team by the name of Copenhagen Vi… Continue

"Out of the City" is a musical journey beyond stress, exhaustion and solitude in search of serenity and fullness : the ambient music of this album depicts these shifts to other world, life and feelings through six tracks freely available here for you.
Finally uploaded 4 music videoes. Many things to remember; what goes where in what format. What site did I come to? What's my password for Myspace?
Everybody's talking about how easy it is to upload.
That's right, but still it takes time. 4 video uploads to 30 different sites, many here in Ning.com + Myspace, Youtube, Facebook and Twitter. They all get a slice of my attention, but at the end of the day... 4 videoes = 13 hours.
Besides uploading videoes, I'm deep doing the "groundwork" for maste… Continue

As the rudimentary elements of producing music of this kind, collaborating with another artist, and how it actually makes it onto cd are seldom explained, this is how these particular albums were recorded.
"Busy With Dreams" is the second of three albums all recorded within a three week period in August 2008 by Steve Brand and myself. The first, "Broken Gold" was released November 2008, and the third called "The Rest Of Time", is scheduled for later this year.
It felt right that we would do so… Continue
Disturbed Earth's comment...
I met SAVO on myspace about over 2 years ago. It was kinda neat. He was doing things that were so unique in the world of drum programming/experimentation and sounds that had an emotion. It was so great to hear, and I was honored that he wanted to work with me. The phone calls between Zephyrhills,Florida and Wolverhampton UK (what an amazing time for us both). Our friendship I know shines through the music on these releases. What a friend I found, and a musical partn… Continue

dw054 - Ryuta.k - In the middle of late capitalism
Musical things mean nothing to me.
Rather music may be 'aufheben' for me.
In the middle of late capitalism,
we never get Kyoraku and
never reach real order.
So I entrust sound or timbre
as I can reach real order as

Dene Bebbington's Review of Pond now at the Ambient Visions
[visit site: http://www.ambientvisions.com/12212008.htm]
Pond is his latest album (apart from the re-release of Invisible Order) and marks a departure from pure ambience to include some rhythmic passages. Being familiar with Stuart's discography it came as no surprise to read that it's constructed from processed synths and guitars, plus flutes, horns, and natural percussio… Continue

On this live album, recorded in the Netherlands on 11 October 2008 at E-Live, Dutch Space Mission takes the listeners on a journey never done before.
It was their first live performance, remastered directly from the soundboard recording made with a digital audio recorder.
The audience parts were taken of a "bootleg" recording by mr… Continue
