About Me:
i'm just a dude,..here..like you...trying to figure it all out!
(actually, i already have--but it's top secret, so don't ask, because if I told you, you wouldn't live in your moment :)

Favorite artist(s)?
Just a sample of artists who've managed to influence my creative headspace--especially the first dude:: Steve Roach. Tangerine Dream. Vangelis. Ishq. Alpha Wave Movement. Solar Fields. Darshan Ambient. Erik Wollo. Patrick O'Hearn. Tone Ghost Ether. Organic Frequencies,..and quite a few Atmotopians.
Are you a musician? What instrument do you play? Type of music?
I'm a solo artist that creates ambient, neoprogressive, ethereally-jazz oriented, new world fusion atmospheres. I was classically trained on piano in my youth, but I've been living the synth way of life for 25 yrs now|: also semi-proficient on guitar, djembe, digital kits..percussion instruments are my thing. Although, I picked up an ocarina in Mexico this summer, give me something to take out on the trails...(maybe try my hand at Native American flute someday).

Most of my history as a musician is a collection of snapshots in time--moments of pure bliss, creating other worlds from within the wormhole of my passion..where there is no time! I had a period in the 90's where I hit the record button under the moniker of "Moonjabber".
Even though most people(including myself) didn't understand where I was coming from at the time, I realized after listening to a Steve Roach CD, that I was progressing into the Ambient World. As I started to worry about not scripting my compositions on paper, other artists and fans made it apparent that improv is a cool gig! (works for me:)

The "innerzone" is my studio...it's pure improvisation during an ethereal moment, connected to the other realm that we all come from--I become one with the keyboard and pull out a completely new auditory adventure every time.

Sidenote-: as fun as the Moonjabber project was, it's not my current state of mind and never will be again...I'm in a completely different space now--creatively & technologically. I've actually been spending a good deal of time the last two years, connecting and promoting other artists thru ambiOfusion. But, I'm hovering at a pivotal point now where I'm just about to hit the record button again!
