Hi Steve; so it is. We are beings of sound or vibration and the very core of our existence is a deep humming, the sound of planet earth, and further on, the sound of this universe. This deeply sensed vibration only audible for the inner ear and even…

perceptional "milestones", sounds with an impact...

From early childhood i have been sensitive to sounds. Being born with an open mind and an active memory, a "sensitive child" as my parents explained to those interested, my memory contains some vivid "sound experiences".
Some of the more dramatic: the sound of my fathers voice as he tried to train his sibling to stop wetting his diapers, my mother was hospitalized for 14 days when i was a year and a half, and when she returned my father had successfully trained me to function without a diaper. M… Continue

Fields of listening, perception of sound....

The search for high quality listening material has been a part of my life for many years. I use the sound as a mental carrier wave or a medium for meditating and doing Obe´s or "twilight traveling". Some where down the line i enjoyed the delicious sound of Pink Floyd, some of their work is very suitable for meditating and awake dreaming. I also stumbled over some avantgarde guys with a very experimental approach to the making of soundscapes. Jan Gabarek was one of them, Jean Michel Jarre another… Continue

Unison, Oneness, Particle, Life, Death and Dying.

When i was younger i often played “mindgames”, following a significant thought or statement in an outward or an inward motion. It never ceased to puzzle my mind thinking from absolute detail and ending in absolute infinity. Like the fact that some carbon molecules in my present body may also have been present in some prehistoric creature, like a T. Rex, or so,
and the very fact that stardust from ancient exploding stars traveling through time and space was part of building this planet and maybe… Continue

Twilight traveling - meeting yourself somewhere else....

Suggested technique for experiencing your ET and/or Angel Identity:

Make sure you are undisturbed, disconnect the phone, turn of radio and tv, turn of any moving or electric objects, so you can be totally undisturbed in any way.

Place yourself in a body position that allows you to relaxe completely,

Focus your awareness inside your head, withdrawing your energy field from where ever it is focused, bring it back home and center it in your head.

Be here... now...notice and allow your breathing… Continue

Thanks for the kind and insightful comments about "SoulSpiral." I've spent a lot of time "on the other side" in my life, and I'd like to think that time has been woven into the fabric of my work. Very gratifying to know that you're connecting with the "wave" I'm sending out, Sippedeje. Much more deep journeying to come...

hi i get where you're coming from having worked with the same yet with kids in the U.S. lock ups and teaching sound design. in jails. Lovely to meet you here I am also 51 and have played cello a few times...but only in the role of showing kids what it is like to have something like that in your hands and learn from the sounds it makes. the darkest of the dark would be Carl Orff's De Temporum de Comedia Fine or something like that...anyhow it is the last movement.
oh yeah welcome to AtmoWorks.

Oh, I do so love a good cello. If you haven't already heard it, listen to Ralph Vaughn Williams' "Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis". It's scored for dual string orchestra and a string quarter, and the cello lines are breathtaking. Also check out David Darling.

Welcome to the AtmoVerse!

I've got Johnny Cash's American 4... oh my... that is an utterly amazing album. The depth of that man's voice.

Cello is also always a favorite of mine. It's always been my wife's dream to play one.
