Well I'd make Copal River by Ancara your very first followed by a selection from this site :-) Paypal has just got unfriendly with my Mac browser which is a pain but it saves me money. Why this Copal River is free download with all the cover art beats me because it is so good, there is a chance it'll be on replay in my CD machine for two or more years . Looks like that site Endoflogic sent has endless other possibilities for downloads but for now I have enough :-)

Yes, and Ashera was one of the few artists whose CDs I bought two of in case I lost the first (then gave it to a friend as back up). But go to that link Endoflogic left a little while ago on the Earth mantra site. I don't think I downloaded the one he meant but what I am hearing on the first track, first time right now, is absolutely fantastic, "Blood red bloom"Ancara, from Copal River. Ahhhhhh, music don't get better than that, and the second track is continuing in brilliance. Also check out rikm's blog on his favorite unknown music. Ancara won the moment because it is first I am playing, but "Illusions of light" by Sylken which i have just downloaded sounds equally brilliant. Note on rikm's blog that he has beaten you on your Tuscany problem by having the same CD in his player for a year before he could possibly replace it ("Sculptor by Sylken and Alan Bloor) !!!!! Now that is something!!!

Just as a side note...Kali stops stomping the bejesus out ov folks on the battlefield when Siva approaches as a childe ...she sits down and suckles the childe...Babe of the abyss...or proud in your purple shall you run? True Humility is empowering. Let us be humble as we sit benath the Tum Tum tree ...waiting for Newton's apple to strike us on thee head!

I suggest a Bhakti type of yoga with your Korg Karma. Give it a Goddess name...build an altar to it...talk to it ...water it with your attention. I have recently been treating my ensoniq sq1 plus with such reverance. I recently started playing again....at first I was a bit rough with her...manhandled her....made my work a one way conversation. She struck back....made me think...stop..drop and roll...began to listen...to this flower..this power... Invoke the Woman who knows....Just call her Auset! Put a flower in front of her...do the friend thing...seduce her if you can!
Auset was the daughter of Nut and Geb. Twin sister of NebHet,wife and sister of (Ausar aka Osiris). The ideal wife and mother. Generally a goddess of the home and person rather than of the temple and the priest. Here divine mother, Auset, is sitting on a lion throne. Her tripartite wig is covered with a vulture headdress, surmounted by the corba crown, with cows horns and solar disc. She is offering her breast to her son Heur, seated on her lap. He, in turn, is shown with a side lock and nude, to indicate that he is a child.

Just a thought....It turned my hopelessness into divine passion...but what do I know... I am a wandering mad man aye?

Hey Stuart. have you got Alio Die and Antonio Testa's "Prayer for the forest"? An acknowledged masterpiece which, guess what, I forgot to include in my favorites list! Everything of Alio Die that I have heard I like very much. R.

I have updated my favorites page a little, naming the artists of the more unknown albums. I could add about a dozen new ones every day. Klaus Wiese is my latest find and his art is very varied from drone to atmospheric to Tibetan singing bowls. Great for meditation. Really enjoying the sound samples of Disturbed Earth and Peter James on this site so I'll be visiting the shop when payday comes.

Profile Information

About Me:
I once listened to 'Tuscany' from Expanding Horizon by Mathias Grassow & Alio Die for 7 days on continuous play! I love ice-cream and life (sometimes) doesn't get much better than playing some pool with friends.
