Music has kept me sane in times of adversity and I am sure my only hope of enlightenment is through realising the empty nature of sound.
I have a decent ambient/industrial/experimental electronica collection (including some collectors' items), sprinkled with some 'post-rock', shoegaze, crossover jazz and death/doom metal (a current fave genre). Also have a classical collection from all eras.

Are you a musician? What instrument do you play? Type of music?
Have dabbled with playing (electric) piano in the past. At the time, I was learning kids tunes at 38-yo, while my 12-yo daughter was playing classical pieces! Have played Tibetan singing bowls, cymbals, rocks and sticks with the musical director of Samsara Meditation Ensemble (based in the US and Nepal), while studying Buddhism in Nepal. About to work on some 'laptop-based' electronica with a friend who has the hardware to create it. Interested in morphing Tibetan Buddhist chanting and singing bowl sounds into Doom Metal samples.
