my aim is not to create ambient music that is homogenous with the rest of the ambient world- to me, the goal is not to 'be like all the others', although there is lots of great ambient out there, and especially on AtmoWorks- artists I both like and respect- the aim of every artist should be to bring a unique blend, a style all their own, and I think my music succeeds in carrying my own stamp.

New Project in the Finishing Stages

My latest project is nearly into the finishing stages, and will be titled 'An Open Field'.

This will feature the addition of compositions made with Ableton Live, as well as Reason, FL Studio, Korg Digital Edition, and a host of other DAW tools.

This collection will be geared more toward 'bliss ambient', with a smattering of dark ambient thrown in.

Release date should be available by the Christmas holiday.

Release Date for Assembling Worlds and Sunday Afternoon

The projects 'Sunday Afternoon' and 'Assembling Worlds' are scheduled to release later in October. We are now putting the finishing touches on 'Assembling Worlds'.

Tentative scheduled release date is for October 20th at Tetragrammaton Productions Ltd.

Two new upcoming albums from Tetragrammaton Productions Ltd

Orb Gettarr is currently working on two new albums, one which will be entitled 'Assembling Worlds' and is based on the writings of Carlos Castaneda and the concept of Tensegrity, and also an acoustic guitar album called 'Sunday Afternoon', which is a collection of recordings made on a battery-powered mobile recording setup after a lightning storm knocked out the power for several hours- on a Sunday afternoon, of course..

I will keep you posted when release time draws near..

Now that I have had a chance to install and use Ableton Live v 8.0.8 (just to see what all the 'hoopla' has been about)- I find that I have been able to produce finished quality results with it- although I can't use it at 96 kHz in my ASIO driver,...

I spent alot of time on your page here today...started listening to the prolific collection of music you have created....I grew incredibly relaxed...had some dragon's blood incense burning and laid down..with candles...and proceeded to go into a "twilight zone" ...a magickal Hypnagogic state...on the cusp of void and form. Your music took me on a journey of deep cartharsis ...I awoke sitting up in bed crying my eyes out about issues long lost rest(or so I thought) of broken relationships and fear of death ..etc...A sort of Goeita....two runes were in my dreams with your music....carved in a cavern Thurisaz...Cathartic destruction...Thorn..Thor's thunder and lighting..Painful messages,warning of cruelity and Deciet..rude awakening to hidden truth. Also Dagaz...The Day, A message of Awakening,clarity and transformation.Transcendence of duality and the break of dawn. You are a wonderful magi/musican.......
