I tend to put mine through delays on Korg D16, different timings and across the stereo field, then through TCM3000 reverb - set at a maximum level for a deep wash. Sometimes I use phaser or flanger on some of the korg effects, then add a final effe…

Any of the The Cult's guitar riffs. Any of the Cure's melodies. Any of Depeche Modes early synth lines. Any of Juno Reactor's tribal rhythms. I could go on and on, always inspired to find new sounds.

There's a very interesting thread on cocteautwinsforums.com where that kind of sound is discussed, and even Robin Guthrie himself talks about his setup : http://www.cocteautwinsforums.com/archive/index.php5/t-570.html On my own, I still wonder if…

I am submerged into the ocean of sound again

I pop up for oxygen every now and then, but once I start working on a new album, I loose contact with the internet. Right now, I am creating tracks for a 2010 release. It still surprises me that after tens of years there is still new territory to explore....
