Not too familair with Marc Rothko honestly...yet BIG fan of Marcel DuChamp most certainly! I'm listening to your music sculptures right now...this is incredibly resonate with me. You are talented ...I am interested in what you do...does it border on profound? Yes... I think it would be even more so if I listened to it on some pricey headphones! So do you like painters? You paint well with word and sound my friend!
Check out Brian Howe here...he does "electro-poetics" which I am Xepering into now. I also like old classical radio plays..and new renditions of such...quite fond of Terry Prachet's "Witches of Wyrd" and all that shite.Once again...see you as a bit of a channeler/compilier/subroutine running ....macro/micro exchange unit. You are TOO COOL aye?
Stewart Copeland I believe did some field recording....Vir Unis has as well(on bike rides thru chi-town...out at Banner Marsh here in central Illinois) Anyway you look and sound like what intelligence looks and sounds like. Just the ramblings of another fan!
Mark - welcome! I just listened to three of your tracks (Behold, Odium, and Witch...) - and enjoyed them all. Interesting mix of microsound, field recording, and subtle sequencer stuff... very nice.
