I am a self-taught musician and sound sculptor. I began playing bass guitar during the mid-70s and started recording at home and creating electronic music in the 80s. I worked in bands, created music for a local television show and did a bit of soundtrack and video production work throughout the 80s and 90s.
In 2001, a piece of mine was included on the Broad Vista Music compilation, "Passing Strange" which also featured works by Biff Johnson, Brian Parnham, Jeff Karsin, John Pemble, The Autumn Project and David Hastings. The track, "Forward Steps", received airplay on Star's End as well as other genre related broadcasts.
In 2004, I left California to live in British Columbia where I continue to create electronic music as well as play bass with various world music groups and singer/songwriter, Norman Foote. I also co-produced a CD celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Vancouver International Children's Festival and had one of my pieces, "Scarecrow", included on the "Sounds Of A Universe Overheard" compilation released by Hypnos Recordings in December of 2007.
In 2008 I began my interactive music program for children called "airPLAY!" and was a coordinator with various new music organizations in presenting the "Sonic Playground" event at the Vancouver International Children's Festival in May. The "Sonic Playground" consisted of various unique musical inventions available for hands on experiences as well as performances and a sound hike between parabolic microphone installations situated at various locations around the festival site.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I enjoyed your contribution to the "Sounds of A Universe Overheard" comp. It flows especially well with the other pieces on the disc.
Hi Kirk! Great to see you here as well. I loved your track on the Hynos compilation! Perhaps we can get together in the 2009 for a collab? Have a great Chirstmas and New Year!
