I would have to agree with Igneous Flame. Flickr can be 'fake'.I have seen many mediocre photos receiving over the top adoration after being submitted to a laundry list of groups (seemingly fishing for "big ups").
However I like Flickr for a numb...
Wow....It must have been amazing being that close to Orion!

Photography is really an outlet for me.I've lived most of my life being a lousy photographer until about three years ago when I realized there was a gap in the pictures that I had of my beautiful daughter Haley. When I bought my camera I went digital and haven't been able to stop taking pictures yet. My now semi-retired Pentax Optio S60 has more than 6,900 in three years.......My photos have found their way into most of my cousin Bob Ohrum's albums. I've shown some in local galleries and published one in our local alt press publication "Artvoice".
Photography today gives me the same high as years ago when I played drums with Bob in a garage band. I just spent the big bucks to go DSLR with a brand new Pentax K2000 10.2 mega pixel........LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL...... I look forward to sharing more of my view of the world as seen through my camera lens.
