I was classically trained very early on guitar, piano, and double bass.
I caught the composing bug very early as a youth and quickly learned how to transcribe for the honor orchestra I was in, and brought my own compositions for the other members to play. Around this time I was also in a couple of bands in Southern Cali, writing songs, playing guitar and keyboards.
I have degrees in Electronic music technology and recording engineering. About two years ago I spent a three day one on one workshop with ambient master Steve Roach.
This completely charged and changed me as far as the way I was approaching the studio and composing. He taught me an incredible amount in a very short time, and I carry and refer to this knowledge on a daily basis.
Now I compose ambient electronic, shamanic, space music sound scapes in my home studio. My music has been played on the syndicated radio program, Hearts Of Space, Stillstream.com, as well as many other ambient programs both on-line and on FM radio.
As well as selling CD's as a recording artist, I also have had some of my music licensed for use in film and multi-media.
