Some time ago, before I had an account on a server with unlimited storage space, I was uploading pieces of music to the Internet Archive, releasing them under a Creative Commons Attribution-No Derivations license.
I recently went back and did a search in audio under 'Orb Gettarr'- lo and behold, I found my name in the credits of a pornographic audiobook! I was shocked to find out that someone had actually applied my music for this purpose. Over the years, I've been asked by all kinds of people for permission to use my music in their projects, anywhere from soundtrack to an independant film by Blurgirl Productions called 'Godhead' to a yoga instruction DVD from Australia. This user obviously knew I would not accept an invitation to have my music used as background for a pornographic audiobook, so I was never contacted for permission to use the tracks in question, and was never contacted even after it was done. If this happened to you, what would you do about it?
