banning members due to spam...
I just had to ban the first person from AtmoWorks for spamming. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and didn't ban them the first time, however... they came back and did it worse.
I feel very very fortunate that we haven't had a massive influx of spammers here. Ning does a very good job of keeping bots out and such.
Ok - so what is spam?
At least here on the AtmoWorks website...
If you're promoting your album or your label or your next live date - we don't think of that as spam here. You're welcome to do that! In fact - that's a really cool thing.
If you're blatantly promoting herbal supplements, adult websites and such... that's spam. I'll delete the posts, warn you once, and delete you.
