I've got the Basic Channel CD that came in the VERY EXTREMELY EVIL metal tin... I also have the Maurizio M-CD as well as a number of Chain Reaction metal tins. A few were almost impossible to remove from the tin - so my recommendation is as soon as you track one down - get it out of the tin and move to a different case. ;-)

Also - regarding the Basic Channel CD - it's good... but if you're ok with mp3 files - go to Amazon and look at the 12" releases...

Why? The 12" versions of the songs are the full versions - the CD has them all edited down so much... the originals have time to breathe - stretch out - they take their time.

With most of them being $1.98 or $2.97 each... and many of the tracks ranging from 10 to 20 minutes each... how can you go wrong??? :-)

Now if they'd just put the Maurizio or Chain Reaction 12" releases up!

I've been playing the coming soon... AtmoWorks Compilation - AtmoWorks Compiled pretty much non-stop since obtaining a reference mix from the miKroNaught twins (my AtmoWorks co-owners Matt and John) - and ... I have to say I love it.
