Steve Roach "Proof Positive"...just finishing up. I'm not a huge sequencer fan, but I like his twist.

Next... Carbon Based Lifeforms, "The Path." If you dig deep enough on their site, you can download this for free...there's your challenge for today! ;-) (I hope you still can.) Very earthy, lots of didg, voice, synths and nice beats.

Next, next... The new Thom Brennan...or is it Thom Brennan and Robert Fripp. Whatever...always sure to be genius.

Steve - it was about 12 albums ago so didn't make my 'last 10 list at em411' - but I also spun your SoulSpiral and Bridge to Nowhere albums. These really keep growing on me every spin - which is about the highest compliment I can give.

I'm now listening to AFX - Analord 7 - lisbon acid.

I try to listen to one Steve Roach every day. Even then it takes about a month to go full circle! One of his latest, "Arc of Passion" is worth the listen in my opinion. Sequenced and atmospheric tracks alternate.

Klinik/Vidna Obmana - Gluttony. This is just some real good industro-ambient stuff. To be followed shortly by their other collaboration, "Greed".

Minutes to Midnight is ok. I'd say, very boring compared to their previous albums unless u like them just for their metal/rock side.

Minutes to Midnight - There are a few really good tracks - and given up is a great one. Otherwise, yeah, it's just ok. I haven't heard earlier albums all the way through. This is the first we've bought.

np:
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Mother's Milk

was:
Orbital - Style e.p.
Haruomi Hosono - Medicine Compilation

I'm currently enjoying Off The Sky's Subtle Trees. Beautiful minimalism. I'm continually amazed by his output. He's very profilic and he almost never misses the mark. Oh, and he seems to be giving away a lot of his music for free, like Subtle Trees.
