A Produce is one of the best trance ambient artists ever to exist. I have all his CDS, and try to play them regularly! "Reflect like a mirror, respond like an echo" the guy is very spiritual and produces gem after gem, jewel embedded in crystal, trance within trance, deep into the "inscape and landscape" metaphorically!

A Produce / M Griffin - Altara

Not really sure about A Produce, I just remember seeing him listed in the old paper Soleilmoon catalogs, back in the day. Thought he would be really dark, but this album is beautiful to me and a bit spacey, for lack of a better word.

Jeff Pearce - Rainshadow Sky. Wonderful stuff, especially digging on "Deluge".

Muslimgauze - Zul'm
Vidna Obmana > < Alio Die - Echo Passage

I have to get my collection in order, stuck in a loop of accessible compact disks.

The greater than and less than signs are like it is printed on the cover art.

I am interested in what I believe is a three cd set which I saw in the Hypnos store years ago. Something 'Sand' which appears to be a seminal release for him.

My limits for 'Dark' ambient seem to hover around Merzbow, though I do believe he has a rare um... mellow release available.

Thanks for the response!

I have one Merzbow album - admittedly - I just can't stand it.

np: Two Lone Swordsmen - Stay Down

was: Timo Maas - Pictures

was: U2 - No Line on the Horizon

I used to have a few Merzbow CDs, but sold them all except for a remix album. It has people like Autechre, Bernhard Gunter, Jim O'Rourke, & Pan Sonic remixing & cutting up his noise. I have no idea as to why I bought his albums, maybe I did it just to annoy my neighbors or my parents (I was still living with my folks when I had these albums).

I have that remix album also! I think the sleeve is pink... that one I would keep - the other one... I have a hard time picturing myself ever in the mood to hear it.

I just ripped a bunch of Autechre to my shiny new iPod...

np: Incunabula

on deck... Basscad ep, Anti ep, Cichlisuite, Envane, and maybe the pair of Peel Sessions!

I declare it (for now at least) "Autechre Day!"

I agree! I could listen to Autechre's Amber all day!

I have the Granz Graf DVD box thing. Autechre make much more sense to me with visuals. They were pretty interesting live at the Movement festival.
A friend who is really into watching demos liked it too.

Mainly obsessing over the Minus podcasts.
Since Richard Hawtin started streaming what he is playing out live over twitter my life has turned weird. I went to a lot of his shows in the 90's.
It's a lot of fun though:)
