We live and breathe music.

For the first time I spoke to Dean over the phone today. Hadn't felt so over-excited to talk to someone in a while!!! As we were talking I just happened to ask him roughly how old everyone is on here! (HAHAHA) Dean's the oldest and I at 21 years of age am the youngest here (born 31st May '87). Its great that the youngest and oldest are releasing something together! But about ages...

Is there anyone here younger than 21?

Is anyone here older than 51?

This discussion is a good laugh EVERYONE should join in!

To continue on Float Methods comment. I wish I was a child again. No bills, no complications, no grudges, etc etc...just trampolines!! and junk food! I used to play a different version of Hide & Seek at school.

It was called tracker, All my mates would split into 2 groups and one group would run and hide and the other team were "on". What made it fun was that the best runners in the running/hiding team (like myself) wouldn't get caught all over the school grounds for the whole 1 hour dinner break haha. They hated me for it. It was mainly because every hiding person that got caught would then be "on" (the chasing team) so u wouldn't know if your teammates had been compromised on the other side of a building (wherever they hid) or not. A few times it was just me against everyone!

Apart from running (not running away) I was never good at any other sports.

Maybe I am the oldest at 60! but I feel and act about 20 and climb mountains twice as fast if I'm wired up to the right music.

Rhys - great photo attached to your post - I hope I look that good when I hit 60.

This is a shot of me last fall: http://www.johei.com/pixel/index.php?showimage=131 - click 'browse' in the upper right to see a few other shots (although most are macro shots and not of my wife or me...)

I am 48, but as my wise daughter says, I act like I am 12.

My kids definitely keep me young. I play trampoline basketball with my son, coach his baseball team & listen to tons of music with my daughter(hers & mine). She is probably the only kid in her school with Miles Davis, Goldmund, Harold Budd, Eric Satie, James Johnson and Dave Brubeck on her ipod. The nice thing about ipods is I don't have to listen to my son play his "rap crap". He just plugs in the earbuds & doesn't torture me.

One thing that really made me feel old...my daughter just got her license. Yikes! Where did the time go? At least I don't have to drive her all over timbuktu anymore!

As I get older & my parents get sick &/or die, I picture myself 40 years from now, on my deathbed. I know I'll have headphones on, listening to ambient music as I go.

I am 53. I remarried a few years ago and was blessed with two step-children (a boy: 9yrs and a girl:11yrs, at the time). I have been working in elementary schools, preschools and daycares. That sure keeps you young at heart...and a valued Advil customer!
Peace, Kirk

My middle son is 14 - his name is Abe Woosley and you can catch him on Soundlclick:

He doesn't do ambient yet, he does techno, trance, electronic and IDM. And some rock & roll with Fruity Loops plug-in Slayer.
