We live and breathe music.

We bought a camera recently...a little Panasonic video camera. I have been envisioning videos since the inception of MTV and now I really want to begin creating. My husband does well at film...I do well at choreography, costuming...has anyone ever used dancers/performers in their videos? I am hoping to eventually choreograph (and maybe even perform, although I am a bit on the older side for this) dance/movement to ambient/world/tribal/darkwave...or heck just about anything else. My background is heavy ballet (16 years) and about 3 years bellydance, 2 years Jazz. I've choregraphed 2 school musicals...once when I was 13 and then again last year. I'm ready to move to music videos! Anyone have experience here?

I've begun making ambient videos - but without people - so I don't have hints - but
this makes me think of the stunning "Pas de Deux" by Norman McLaren from 1968.

Best wishes for your new work...

That was really amazing, I wonder how it was done? I did like the choreography itself and the music it was done to also. Ambient is very good music for Ballet. Thank you!
