We live and breathe music.

Recommend me some easy songs. I listen M. Grassow. Do you know something similar?

Gee....where should I start?

FIrst pick up anything by Thom Brennan. That's a great place to begin. After that, I'd recommend picking up Exuviae's "Settling Density", Jeff Pearce's "The Light Beyond" and Vir Unis' "Return of the Locust Queen". There are so many more I could list, but those are the first one's off the top of my head.

Hope that helps.

I think that's an honorable impulse. Relaxing music can not only help us unwind, but help us listen to our inner voice for solutions regarding those situations that are causing excessive stress. And, it's just a nice way to disengage from the world a little.

(Going through my iPod playlists...) Steve Roach, "A Deeper Silence." James Johnson, "Entering Twilight." Thom Brennan, "Strange Paradise." Jim Cole, "Innertones." Tom Heasley, "On the Sensations of Tone." Alio Die and Zeit, "Sunja." "Harold Budd," As Long As I Can Hold My Breath [By Night]." Vir Unis, "Aeonian Glow." P. James, Disturbed Earth, "Remains." Robert Rich, "Echoes of Small Things." Vidna Obmana, "Soundtrack for an Aquarium." Roach, Seelig, Metcalf, "Wachuma's Wave." Colourform (Ishq), "Visions of Surya." I'm sure I'll think of more later...

A few i've mentioned in other discuccions in the past, always favorites...

Nest EP by Nest, Pete James' new release "Is", all albums from Stars of the Lid, A Lily's "Sleep:Wake" album.
An awesome album I'm sure you guys would like..."The Sea Swells A Bit..." by Aidan Baker. Epic45's "May Your Heart be the Map" is another.

I could go on and on....

The Deep Invisible by Atomine Elektrine is Dark ambient but still mellow and relaxing.

Oooh That is some good music. A lot of the sounds used are toward the lighter side, but then they are manipulated and layered in a really expansive way.

From perspective, The "Mystic Chords" box set is wide ranging. There are some much LIGHTer sounds, as well as more shaded, darker sounds, i.e., "Labyrinth." This range is what makes these 4 disks an opus magnum. JMO
